■ o Owners and trainers are reminded that acceptances and general entries- for the Taranaki Jockey Olub's Christmas meeting will close with the secretary, Mr. E. P. Webster, to-night (Monday) at 9 p.m. The first day's weights' appear to liave given almost universal satisfaction so that owners should respond generously to-night and make this year's Christmas meeting a record one. The full programme is advertised in another column.
