Aus- ! tralasia, played at Edinburgh, the game' I was drawn, one converted and two unconverted tries being scored by each side. The ground was soft, and there were several changes in the English team since the first test, and the men were drawn I from fewer clubs, securing a better com- j bination. The colonials were chiefly on the de-, fensive during the first half, England ' showing fine passing and handling. Wagstaff scored a try which was unconverted. Frawley crossed from a ■ breakaway, and Russell failed to convert. Lomas and Wagstaff added tries, one of which was converted, the colonials tackling weli. Francis just missed a goal from a free kick. J At half-time England was 11 and AusI tralasia 3. I The colonials showed great dash i« the second spell, and constantly attacked. McKivat scored, and Francis from an awkward angle missed the shot at goal. Russell then crossed, and Francis con- | verted. From thence it was a hard game, without further score.
