TURF TOPICS. Since the tost Stratford races the Stratford Racing Club has expended £2OOO in improvements on its property, and it is hardly mecessairy to state that the improvements effected will foe greatly appreciated by the public and! horse.owners, who patronise the Stratford races on January 1 and 2 next. The grandstand has been lengthened by one half its previous length, a very- handsome stewards' stand has also been erected, while' an ornamental iron fence has been placed round the town and birdcage.
