HEAVY PUNISHMENT. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright Berlin, December 14. Schultz's sentence of imprisonment for espionage will be with hard labor. The severity of the sentence has caused a sensation. Hipisch'i. who is an engineer at the dock vard, alleged that he had been pram's ■! forty marks weekly by Schultz. The judge stated thit Sehultz made a large collection of plans after a couple of interviews in Januarv. and transferred them to emissaries in England. The plans provided far-reaching enlightenment on the most intimate military and naval affairs. Von Maack gave written information regarding the commissioning of NorthGerman Lloyd and Hamburg-American steamer. Mulff was employed in the North German machinery works at Bremen.
