NEW PLYMOUTH HIGH SCHOOL
GYMNASIUM WORK. The annual scjuad competition was completed at the end of last week, and resulted in a win for Adlam's team. The competition included work on the horizontal bar, parallel bars, military horse, and rings. The following are the re suits:— 1. Adlam's team (champions):—S. Ewing 82 points, Adlam 80, A. Little 75, Orone. 71, Bruce 69, C. Bacon 59, D. Grant 50, Bridgeman 48; total, 540. 2. Little's team. —N. Little 98 points, Hamblyn 81, Sinclair 72, Wilkie 64, W. Ewing 02, Lepper 53, Kidd 53, Burkhardt 4G; total 529. 3. Grant's team.—Grant 97 points, Weston 74, L. Day 67, Teed 62, Marfell 56, Salt 51, Brown 43, Leech 43; total 493. 4. Pott's team.—Chong 95 points, L. Hooker 77, Pott 71, Hempton 59, Stanton 53, Howell 53, Hawkes 43, Whitliam 29; total 480. 5. Day's team. Day 82 points, Kelly 78, Box 74, Avann 64, Mander 57, Putt 43, Skelton 42, Kirton 34; total 474. 6. Goss' team. —Newell 71 points, G-rey 70, Goss 67, Monteath 63, Evans 54, White 46, Bendall 37, average allowed 58; total 466.
