GYMNASIUM WORK. The annual scjuad competition was completed at the end of last week, and resulted in a win for Adlam's team. The competition included work on the horizontal bar, parallel bars, military horse, and rings. The following are the re suits:— 1. Adlam's team (champions):—S. Ewing 82 points, Adlam 80, A. Pott's team.—Chong 95 points, L. Hooker 77, Pott 71, Hempton 59, Stanton 53, Howell 53, Hawkes 43, Whitliam 29; total 480. 5. Day's team.
