TRAM ACCIDENT. Lisbon, December 11. Fourteen bodies have been recovered from the river Douro, into which an electric tram fell. Thirty persons were injured. DIVORCE COURT AND A FOREIGN PRINCE'S STATUS. London, December 11. In the divorce case, Statliain v. Satham and Gaekwar, of Baroda, the Court reserved its decision as to whether Gaekwar, being a foreign ruling prince, was immune from proceedings. EMPIRE PARLIAMENTARY ASSOCIATION. London, December 12. Good progress has been made in London and the provinces in connection with the establishing of a United Kingdom branch of the Empire Parliamentary Association. The active co-operation of municipalities and chambers of commerce has been enlisted. Lord Grey has been appointed chairman of the executive.
