GLOVE FIGHTS

The Inspector-General of Police has issued strict instructions that boxing contests must not bo allowed to develop into prize lights or exhibitions of brutality. Under no circumstances will infringement of this rule be allowed. A clean 'break is insisted upon, and contestants must be medically examined and certified as fit before they enter the ring.
