The Rarawa had a very rough trip down from Onehunga on Wednesday night and did not arrive till 9 a.m. yesterday. Her cargo amounted to 102 tons, which included 10 tons of flour, 21 tons of cement, 30 tons of manure, .24 tons of pumice, a quantity of fruit and two motor cars. THE CORINNA. The Corinna is due from southern ports this morning with about 450 tons of cargo. After discharging she proceeds to Onehunga, returning here on SundayV SHELTERING. The Arapnwa put in at the breakwater abo;it 4 p.m. yesterd.iv for shelter. She was bound from Wannanui to Waita-ra with general cargo, hut was unable to make the latter port owing to the heavy sea on the bar. She will make another attempt as soon as the weather moderates. HEAVY WEATHER. | The Alexander, bound from New PlyI mouth to Grcymouth, had to put into Nelson yesterday owing to the very | heavy weather being encountered' on the | coast. The coastal steamer Wairau (formerly the schooner Ronga, which was dismast-1 ed in Cook Strait) has been .disposed of I •by Mr. Perano (of Picton) to the AVest Coast Trading Company, of Palmerston North and Levin. The Wairau is a wooden vessel of 93 tons register, and has proved a satisfactory cargo carrier. A few months ago she was badly damaged by collision with the Himitangi in the Manawatu river, and was repaired at Picton.
