, f SUMMARY AND FORECAST. ' By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington. Last Night. . The Meteorological Office has issued the following summary and forecast:— The barometer has risen everywhere and the weather quickly improved to-day. Thew inds, principally from the south Ud west, are still 6trong to gale in parts, but have decreased, and the storm has now passed to the eastward of New Zealand. Present indications are for warm and hazy weather generally, increasing cloudiness, with more humid conditions following shortly. The winds wQI probably back to northerlies, and freshen again, with a falling barometer eveiywhere, after sixteen hours.
