SIX PERSONS KILLED. By Cable—Press Association —Copyright. Adelaide, December (i. An explosion occurred on the City of Lincoln on Sunday afternoon without warning. The stop valve burst, and immediately the stokehold, in which the third engineer and five coolie firemen were, was filled with steam from the three boilers. As speedily as possible assistance was rendered, but the victims were beyond hope. The six bodies when recovered were terribly scalded. They were buried at sea. Flavel, the third engineer, was a native of Glasgow.
