MR. BROWN'S OPINION. Mr. H. J. Brown, chairman of the British Empire Oilfields Company, Ltd., who arrived here from London last week, intimated) that he was .so satisfied as to the potentialities of the New Zealand 'oil fields in the neighborhood of New Plymouth that he had cabled for Mr. J. D. Henry, who inspected the above fields early this year, to leave England immediately, and had received a reply to the effect that Mr. Henry would arrive here on January 10th next. Mr. Brown further stated that he had cabled to his Company's advisory engineer to endeavor to make the necessary arrangements to proceed to New Zealand early in the New Year.
