ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
TRAMWAY ACCIDENT. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Tuesday. Charles Anderson, about 70 years of age, whilst crossing a street intersecting the Ponsonby tramway lii» this morning, walked behind one car, right in front of another car passing in the other direction on the down grade. The old man was knocked down and carried on the lifeguard till the car* was brought up. He was seriously injured about the head when picked up, and was breathing hielast.
