THE WEATHER.
SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Meteorological Office has issued the following weather summary and forecast:—The winds have backed by west and decreased in force generally. The wet weather has improved to-day in most parts of the country. The barometer rose during the night, but has fallen this afternoon in the south. Present indications are for mild and hazy weather, with increasing cloudiness and rain following in most parts of the country. Increasing northerly winds are probable generally, with a falling barometer everywhere.
