The position of the Tees is not dangerous. The passengers have been landed, and tugs a-re standing by. The wireless communication broke down in consequence of the high cliffs interrupting the messages. PROBABLE WRECK. Received 5, 1-2.45 a.m. The captain of the steamer Kapunda reports passing floating cases, apparently full of merchandise, for nearly an hour, off Kiama. Thev appeared not to have been in the water long.
