BRITISH RAILWAYS.
A CONFERENCE ARRANGED. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. London, December 1. The. invitation of Mr. Buxton, President of the Board of Trade, to the rnihvaymen and railway companies suggests as a basis for a conference that the findings of the commission be accepted in principle and substance by both sides. The Council of Railways today accepted the invitation, and the railwaymen's executives have also agreed to the conference.
