SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Meteorological Office has issued the following summary and forecast: — The barometer rose slightly during the night, but fell in the south to-day. Hazv •ad cloudy weather has prevailed with showers in parts and moderate to strong westerly winds have predominated. Pre. ■eat indications are for high westerly winds generally, hazy and unsettled weather with showers in many parts oi the country, and electrical disturbances in places. The barometer is very unsteady and will probably fall further everywhere, but a rise is due in the south about Sunday evening, when a cold southerly change may be anticipated.
