The total shipments to Europe for the meek amounted to 1.070,000 quarters including Argentine 13,000 quarters, Russian 235,000 quarters, Danubian 200,000 quarters, India, 116,000 quarters, and I Australasian 16,000 quarters. .

Better demand, and prices are mm. New Zeadand hinds 3y 2 d, New Zealand; fores •2y„d. ■ Butter,—Hie market id very 'firin.i •with general and active demand. The average prices for the week for choicest werc: New Zealand 1325, Australian; 1295, Danish 1375, Siberian 1255, Argentina 130s.
Cheese.—(The market is steady, with very good demand. The average prices for the week for finest -were: New Zealand -68s, Canadian 70a, English Cheddar'9os.
Hemp.—The market remains firm, but there ia only a limited demand. J»ew Zealand good fair grade £2O, fair grade £lO, 'fair current Manila £2O, for all positions. The output from Manila for the week was 20,000 hales. Kauri Gum.—The market is quiet and small 'business doing. Da-rk .brown selected: resera.ped. £6 10s to £7 10s, dark brown three-quarter scraped 85s to SOs, dark brown chips' (drossy) 30s to 40a, rescraped pale amber £lO to £l2', threequarter pale scraped £7 to £B, diggers chips (good) 45s to 60s; 222 cases were ofl'ered and 100 cases sold. The stock on October 31 was 373 cases.
