SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Meteorological Office has issued the following summary and forecast: — Mild and changeable weather has prevailed with showers on the West Coast and southern districts. The barometer has fallen slowly everywhere, with variable winds, moderate westerlies predominating. Present indications are for a slight rise in the barometer preceding a farther fall, and moderate to strong westerly winds back to northerly shortly. Goody and unsettled weather with showers are probable at times in most parts of the country, and increasing haze generally.
