LOAN AND MERCANTILE COMPANY. London, November 24. The report of the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company shows that £20,000 was added to the premises account, £50,000 to the staff benevolent fund, £60,000 to the reserve, and £30.000 to capital rcM-rvo, leaving a profit of £20,032. After paying a dividend of 7% per cent, and an additional 2'/ 2 per cent, on third debentures, £292 was carried forward. A scheme for the reorganisation of the capital will be submitted early in 1912.
WOOL SALES. The N.Z.L. & M.A. Co. (Stratford branch) report:—The dates of the London wool sales for 1912 aro fixed as under: —First series, January 10; second series. MaTch 6; third mies, April :t!l (no limits); fourth series, July 9; fifth f?eries. September 24; sixth series, November 20 (no limits, if any ton fixed later). The list of fresh arrivals is as usual, to be closed eight days prior to the opening date of each series, unless '■limit" -be previously reached.
