Revolt in China.
TORPEDO BOATS FEAT. CRUISER BOMBARDS A FORT. 87 Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Pekin, November 23. A rebel torpedo boat ran the gauntlet of the Imperialist forts at Hankau, and Btearned at full speed while the whole battery of twelve guns poured shrapnel at the boat, which was rtpeatedly struck. The feat aroused the enthusiasm of foreigners. The boat was disabled opposite the foreign concessions, which it finally reached under the Wuchang bank. A revolutionary cruiser bombarded the fort, killing several men.
X VOLUNTEER AIRMAN. New York, November 23. A Chinaman at San Francisco, named Gum, who is an aviator, is negotiating to be sent to aid the revolutionaries in China. PIRATES BUSY. BRITISH SHIP LOOTED. AN OFFICER KILLED. Received 25. 12.50 a.m. Hongkong, November 24. Pirates on the West River looted the British steamer Shinon and killed the chief officer. Mr. Nicholson, and then boarded a Chinese steamer. One hundred and ninety thousand do'lars were stolen.
