SAUNDERS' PICTURES, There were no vacant seats in the" Whiteley Hall last night, and may people were content to stand. The wealth of horse racing i n the pictures appealed greatly to the audience awl the magnificent film depicting the Melbourne Cup, showing Parisian coming home, was applauded to the echo. In the Pate Gazette, which contained many fine current topical pictures, there was one illustrating the Doiicasiter meeting and the running of the classic St. Leger. The extraordinary completeness of these racing pictures made it almost possible to hear the crowd cheering. Another brilliant film was the French naval disaster showing the terrible catastrophe that wrecked the Liberie, and bringing vividly to mind the French naval powder scandals. The wealth of scenic, dramatic, and other pictures made up an entertainment greatly to the liking of the large audience.
