MASONIC.
XGAMOTU LODGE. The installation of Bro. E. L. Mcllroy as W.M. of Lodge Xgamotu took place in the lodgeroom, St. Mary's Hall, in the presence of n large number of Freemasons from Xgamotu Lodge, Mt. F.gmont Lodge, and De Burgh Adams Lodge, as well as visitors from Hawera, Waitara. Stratford, Wellington and other parts of the Dominion. The Prov. A.M., Rt. Wor. Bro. T. C. Fookes, and Past Prov. G.M. Rt. Wor. Bro. F. P. Corkill, were also present. The installation ceremony was impressively carried out by the retiring master, Wor. Bro. G. *. Murray, assisted by several past masters. Wor. Bro. T. Furlong was Master of Ceremonies. The W.M. invested his officers for the ensuing year as follows: Immediate Past Master," Wor. Bro. G. T. Murray; Senior Warden, Bro. W. X. Ewing; Junior Warden, -Bro. E. W. Gnrner; Treasurer, Wor. Bro. J. S. S. Medley, P.M.; Secretary Wor. Bro. W. H. Haddrell, P.M.; Chaplain. R. Wor. Bro. F. P. Corkill, P.P.G.M.; Senior Deacon. Bro. F. S. Johns; Junior Deacon, Bro. A. H. Steeds; Director of Ceremonies, Wor! Bro. J. E. Wilson, P.M.; Organist. Wor. Bro. R. X. Benaud, P.G.0.; Inner Guard, Bro. W. P. Xicoll; Stewards, Bros. A. Forbes, C. H. Weston, A. IL Goss. W. R. Gilbert; Tvler, Wor. Bro. J. Asher. P.M.
At the conclusion of the ceremony those present were the guests of Lodge Xgamotu at the Brougham Street Hall, where a sumptuous repast, catered for by Bro. A. Wooler, was duly appreciated, and an hour or two passed pleasantly in harmony. Several toasts were proposed and honored, and a capital musical programme submitted, to which the following contributed: Bros. Renaud, Johns, Steeds, Weston,' and Wor. Bro. Broome.
