Ladies, and especially those from the country, will find much to interest them at the Agricultural Show to-day in the cooking demonstrations that will be given to show the advantages possessed |by the Perfection Oil Stove from a money, worry, time, and labor-saving point of view . Messrs, Okey, Son and Arnold are the local agents for this stove, which can be obtained in all sizes —one, two and three burners—and the demonstrations will be in charge of Mr. Tabart, travelling representative of the Vacuum Oil Company. On Tuesday a demonstration was held at Messrs. Okey, Son and Arnold's, and was attended by a large number of ladies, who left enthusiastic in their praises of the stove. The two great events in New Plymouth this week are the Agricultural Show to-day (Thursday), which will eclipse any previous effort, and Ambury's special supplementary show of spring and summer dresses and milliner - (ready to put on), selected in London and Pans by Miss Harrison, who has iust returned and will be delighted to meet her numerous friends and visitors to town on Tuesday and every day through the week.
