STATUS OF MOTOR CYCLISTS. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 21, 11.25 p.m. Sydney, November 21. The New South Wales Cyclists' Union decided that amateur motor cyclists participating in the forthcoming relay race from Adelaide to Sydney shall lose their amateur status, because of three separate despatches, one each for bicycles, motor cycles and motor cars. Their times will be compared, and professionals allowed to compete in the cycle .division, amateurs from other States '.taking part.
