In the tennis championships the grand totals are:—Victoria, 11 rubbers, 2u sets, 247 games; New South Wales! 10 rubbers, 25 sets, 257 games. Brooks and Addison were in remarkably good form, winning- everything thev competed in. 0 J the Sydney Tennis Association decided to nivitc the American Davis Cup team to visit Australia. The association will defray .expenses, allow a substantial proportion of the gate, and give the visitors a choice of the form of contests.
