' SUMMARY AND FORECAST. | By Tdegraphf-Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Meteorological Office has issued the following, summary and forecast:— ffhe winds have backed by west to a northerly direction and increased generally! The haziness and cloudiness bas spread and rain has fallen in parts, especially on the West Coast and southern districts of the South Island. The tarometer is now low again in the south. Present indications are for high and squally westerly winds generally, with a falling barometer everywhere, but a rapid rise will probably take place within forty hours with the .winds veering to BOutheflyT "Cloudy and unsettled weai ther is anticipated with thunderstorms in parts. Bain is probable generally.
