ROUGH WEATHER. The recent rough weather has had a severe effect on shipping. The Rosamond left Manukau Heads on Tuesday afternoon for New Plymouth and did not arrive here till yesterday afternoon, taking about 48 hours on the journey. The Rarawa, which is not often seriously affected by the weather, missed the connection with the mail train yesterday, but was.able to connect with the second train. At Patea three vessels were in the river unable to get out, while the ports on the West Coast of the South Island were practically unworkable. THE RARAWA. The Rarawa, which arrived' yesterday morning from Onehunga, brought 74 tons of cargo, including 9 tons of sugar, 6 tons of flour, 15 tons of cement, 1400 ft of timber, and a small quantity of fruit. THE ROSAMOND. The Rosamond arrived yesterday afternoon from Onehunga and after discharging 60 packages of explosives, loaded a quantity of cheese and sailed for Wellington. KOONYA FURTHER DELAYED. The Koonyi has been further delayed in the South and is now not expected here till Monday. OVERSEA VESSELS. STEAMERS TO ARRIVE AT WELLINGTON.
