' SUMMARY AND FORECAST. -n By T«kgraph-7-Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Meteorological Office has issued the following 'Summary and forecast: Westerly and south-westerly winds, strong to hard gales, have 'been experienced in many parts of the country, •with rery changeable weather. Rain has fallen in most districts, hail, thunder and lightning in places, and some snow was reported this morning at Tophbuse. Hie barometer fell to 28.27 at the Bluff last night, but has risen slowly to-day. Present indications are for high southwesterly winds generally, with squally «nd showery weather, probably colder, hod the barometer rising everywhere, but only temporarily in the south.
