BRILLIANT PERFORMANCE. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright Melbourne, November 14. Donaldson and Postle did three extraordinarily brilliant championship sprints. Postle won the 88 yards by a foot in 7 4-5 sec. The runners were level to fifty yards, when Postle broke away suddenly, and Donaldson was unable to catch him. Donaldson won the 100 yards by six inches in 0 3-ssec. They were again'level to fifty yards, and Postle again broke away, the champion overhauling him on the post. In the 110 yards Postle looked safe at the hundred, but Donaldson by a tremendous effort won by four inches in 10 4-ssec.
