BOWLING.
The following will represent West End Bowling Club in their match with Stratford, at Stratford, on Thursday next:—Messrs. J. D. Sole (s.), Bigelow, Johnson, T. Sole; Firth (s.), Newell, Hill, Lye; Beal (s.), Wood, Gremer, Francis; Johnson (s.), F. Lee, Bendall, R. Lee; Newell (s.), Bullot, McQuade, Martin. The whole of the Taranaki clubs have agreed to play for the championship banner this season, and in place of fixtures being drawn up the clubs have mutually arranged to fix the matches on the most suitable dates. Thursday will be the opening day, and several teams have arranged matches. FRzroy will play Inglewood at Inglewood.
