Seven wickets were down for 115. Rees played plucky, dashing cricket, and with Mayne added s>l in 47 minutes. The bowlers were changed, frequently, but runs came at a fair rate, and 200 went up for'l9o min--utes' play,. Just before time Rees was caught at wicket. He had batted for 71 minutes, and hit six fours. Mayne batted for 105 minutes.
