A VESSEL ASHORE.

iHh PROBABLY THE MARGIT. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 13, 11.10 p.nu Adelaide, November 13. The harbormaster at Kingston reported this morning that a three-masted vessel was aground, half a mil* from shore, thirty miles north of Kingston. There was a heavy sea and surf running, and a quantity of wreckage was washed ashore. After reporting, the Kingston postmaster left the office, and details are therefore unavailable. The lifeboat from Victor harbor left early for the scene of the wreck, a sixty miles journey. It is supposed that the vessel is the Norwegian barque Marlit (Margin), which sailed from Victor harbor on Friday for England with a cargo of 23.35.. bags of wheat shipped by the Cave Company.

FATE OF CREW UNKNOWN. Received 14, 1.10 a.m. Adelaide, November 13. There are no further details of the wreck. The identity of the vessel and the fate of the crew is unknown till ■the return of the lifeboat.
