THE TARANAKI SHOW.
The tender of Mr. Whittle, of the Red House Hotel, has been accepted for the publican's booth at the show, to be held on November 22 and 23. The luncheon booths will be in charge-*;of-' Mr. A. W. Wooller. Farmers and visitors should book rooms as early as possible, as (lie hotels and boardi'nghouses ;ir£ receiving enquiries daily for accommodation during show week. Entries for all classes close on Saturday next, 18th insi. From entries to hand', visitors will be assured of one of the greatest exhibition; of live stock ever witnessed in fie Dominion. The secretary is alreadr in receipt of considerably over 250 entries from outside the Taranaki district, and ii the local farmers and tradeupaople. will only support the Society as they should do for the benefit of the district in which they live. Cheese-makers should take notice that entries for the cheese competitions clo?e to-day (Tuesday). The competitions ere for white and colored cheese, and should command good entries. Visitors by motor car to the show will have plenty of amusing e..nrt valuable motor-car competitions. " Mr. M. L. ITolali lias kindly donated valuable prizes for three separate competitions. The prize for one competition will bo a pair o; valuable nickel-pie ted Lucas h.r.'.y:-,, valued at £5 ss; another ccmpotition will bo open to the owners or ?o-i! i:;v;, for v.hicb the prize will be a da-.b-board clock.
