HEAVY HAILSTORM. By Telegraph—Press Association. Timaru, Last Night. Very heavy hail fell in 'a strip of country from Waimata to Rangitata, passing Timaru eight to twelve miles inland. Some of the stones were large, and the (hail lay several indies thick, whitening the country like snow. Thwe was much damage to the vegetation along the whole length of the strip. i
