EFFECT OF SOCIALISM.
DRIVING INDUSTRIAL WEALTH TO THE EAST. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 12, 5.5 p.m. London, November 11. The Rev. Inge, Dean of St. Paul's, in an address to the Women's Diocesan Association, declared that democracy had the-silliest fetishes. They would transfer industrial wealth to Eastern Asia. This would prove a certain sequel to the European labor movement. A worse fate, woud probaby befall Australia, which was within easy reach of far more efficient yellow industrials. He was unable to join the chorus of those advocating the church's co-operation in the Labor movement. Socialism might suit a country like New Zealand until the British fleet ceased to safeguard it. Then the yellow men would make short work of pampr-red trade unionism.
