Mr. Austen Chamberlain and Mr. W. Long will stand aside from the leader--ship of the Unionists. It is understood they propose to second the nomination of Mr. Bonar Law on Monday. Received 12, 5.5 p.m. London. November 11. It is understood that Mr. Bonar Law's selection is due to Mr. Joseph Chamberlain's influence. The newspapers comment that he is a Canadian by birth. Sir Edward Carson declined nomination.
