SAUNDERS' BIOGRAPH PICTURES. " CAPTAIN' KATE." The Selig Company havo latch' produced a number of pictures in which their great menagerie lias prominently figured, examples already shown in Wlhiteley Hall being "Survival of the Fittest," "Zululand," "Hack to the Primitive" and last, but certainly not least, '•'Captain Kate." This truly remarkable picture shows a beautiful girl, who is deserted by her native carriers and guides in the African wilds, after the death of her father, a wild animal collector The heroine finds solace in the companionship ot a pair of tame leopards.. Wild -lion* prowl around her log hut, and when the last cartridge has been fired sihe lets out her leopards to.attack the lions. The leopards kill one of the Mons and put the other to flight. The scones are realistic, 'an<l unique, .the whole effect thrilling, aiul it is little wonder the picture aroused the utmost enthusiasm.
