CHARGE OF MANSLAUGHTER
A STREET AFFRAY. By Telegraph—Press Association. ■Wellington, Last Night. ■' Consequent bn the death at the hospital on Wednesday afternoon of fieorge Ounther, enquiries were made by the detectives, it being thought that the man's decease was caused through a blow delivered by an assailant. As a result of investigations, Detectives Lewis and Andrews to-day arrested a young man named Edward Francis Moffitt, and charged him with manslaughter. The accused was released on bail, self in the sum of £l5O, and one surety of £'l6o. Moffitt will appear before the court tomorrow morning. The inquest on Gunther will take place to-morrow afternoon.
