SON SHOOTS FATHER
A FAMILY TRAGEDY. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 3, 1.5 a.m. Sydney, November 2. A farmer named Broderiek died at Gotilburn from a gunshot wound, and a son has been arrested and charged with causing his death. Broderiek was drunk and assaulting his wife, when the son interposed. Broderiek, in his dying depositions, stated his son fired in self-defence.
