- L. A. NOLAN AND CO.'S REPORT. ' , Poultry.—Ou Saturday we had a fair/ i entry, including an advertised line of Black Orpingtons, which realised goodl prices. Ducklings were in good demand. We quote:—Hens, fat, 2s to 2s 7(1; or-! dinary, Is lOd to 2s Id; cockerels' (scarce), 2s 4d to 2s Gd; roosters, Is fid to 2s fid; (lucks, 2s 6d to 3s Od; duck- < lings, Is 4d to 2s 2d; broods, 5s to 12s; p.b. Orpington hens, 2s 9d; pullets, 3s 3d to 3s fid; cockerels, 10s. In the mart we disposed of a large quantity of household furniture at satisfactory prices. Fruit.—With the exception of Island fruit, very little has come to hand. Prices realised for the week were as follows:—Oranges, originals, 7s to 12s 3d; repacks, to 10s fid; bananas, ripe, 2%d per lb; green, lis Gd per case. On Tuesday we held a clearing sale at Omata on account of the Rev. Allanson and Mr. N. Miller. There was a good attendance of buyers and everything was sold to good competition. Mr. Pearson's dairy herd also realised very satisfactory prices. Cows in profit made from £C> 2s Cd to £8 las; yearling Jersey heifer, £4 ss; heifer calves, 13s to 20s; bull calves. 3*. >

WEBSTER BROS.' REPORT. Poultry.—At the mart on Saturday we had an extra heavy entry of all classes of .birds, fat ducklings and cockerels being in good demand. Prices realised as follows:—Hens, old, Is llcl to 2s 6d; young, 2s 3d to 3s; cockerels, .Is 0(1 to 2s fid; ducklings, lid to 3s 4(1, according to size; ducks, 3s 3d to 3s 3d; chicks, Is 3d; bantams, Is to Is 8d; broody hens, 2s fid to 3s; trio p.b. White Leghorns, 9s fid, The usual line of auction sundries realised satisfactory prices. Fruit.—During the week this has been in short supply, consequently each line offered met with a keen market. Prices were as follows:—Bananas, ripe, 2%d to 3d per lb; oranges, Island repacks, 10s fid to 17s fid; New Zealand oranges, 4s 3d to 4s fid; lemons, (is fid to 7s; apples, Americans, 10s; Sturmers, 13s; cucumbers, 5s 3d to 5s (id per dozen; cocoanuts, lis per sack; new potatoes, l%d to 2d per lb. !

LOCAL MARKETS. Butchers' Meat. Beef: Sirloin, 6d; prime ribs, sd; rump steak, 8d; beef from 3d to 6d; corned beef, 4d ana sd. Mutton: Legs fid; chops, Cd; loin, sd; shoulders, 5d per lb; necks, 3d. Veal, 3d to 5d per lb. Sausages: Beef, sd, pork Bd. Lamb: Legs, 6d; forequarters, 4s 6d; hindquarters, 5s fid. Pork: Fresh, Gd per lb. Fowls, Ss to 6s per pair; ducks, 6s per pair. Dripping, fid per lb. These prices' are for cash only; y 2 d per lb. for booking over cash prices charged by New Plymouth one week.

General Groceries.—Rolled oats and oatina. lOd bag; oatmeal, 3s 9d per 251b bag; flour, roller, 1001b, lis 3d, 501b Gs, 251b 3s 3d.

Cereals, etc. —Oats, Cartons, 3s Oil per bushel, Duns 3s od, crushed oats 4s; barley, 3s 9d; crushed beans, 5s fid; pollard 7s 3d per 1001b, 14s per 2001bs; bran, ds per 1001b; fowl wheat, 4s Gd per bushel; maize, 4s Cd to 5s per bushel. Dairy Produce, etc.—Butter: Faetory Is 3d, dairy Bd. best separator Is Id per lb; cheese, Sd per lb; eggs, lid per doz.; lard, 9(1 per lb; bacon, rashers, 10d per lb; hams, o'/,d per lb; milk, 4d per quart. Fruit.—Bananas, 3d and 4d lb; lemons, Is pur do/.; apples, lid and 8d lb; figs, 4d and (id box; oranges, Is (id and 2s per dozen; mandarins, Is doz; pineapples, fid and 0d each; passion fruit, lOd per doz.
