IN LONDON' AND HERE. A return laid before Parliament on the motion of Mr. Russell, shows the wholesale value, in London of food products exported from the Dominion during the months of May, June and July, 1911, and the retail values of the same products in the Dominion during the same months. The comparison shows that in nearly every case the wholesale prices in London were considerably lower. are the fcondon priees, the Dominion retail prices being shown in parentheses:—Mutton: May, 2%d to 3%d per lb; June, 3 ! / 4 d to 4%d per lb; July, 3'/ a d to 4d per lb.
