AX IMPORTANT SAL]'., i The awtioni'i'i's wish to draw altcni tion to what will undoubtedly hi; the I chief feature of the Mariawatu A. and P. show on Friday, November 3—the sale of pedigree Holstein-Friesian and pedigree Ayrshire cattle, which will take place on the showgrounds at 10 a.m. sharp, and also the pedigree Hereford hull; "Crusader." The offering includes eight yearling and one 2-year pedigree Holstein hulls on account of the'Wereroa State Farm. Levin, and these will be sold absolutely without reserve. These bulls are by such well known sires as Kruger 11., Sir de Kol Inka Pietertjc and Von Tromp, from high record dams, including the great cow Manola, and will be placed on the market in the best of order and condition. Mr. Lovelock offers five pedigree Holstein yearling heifers, five pedigree Holstein yearling bulls, and also the champion bull'C'liffsidc Laddie, who has won so many prizes in the leading shows in the North Island. Mr. Oalliehan offers two highly-bred bulls in Boss Buiter Boy and Sir de Kol of Rotokanae, and also one 7-year bull and one j 10-months pedigree heifer. There will also be four pedigree yearling Holstein bulls offered, three on account of Mr. J. Donald, of Wanganui, and one on account nf Mr. J. Aiteheson, of the South Island, and these are very choice animals! Messrs Slack Bros.' show Ayrshires will also be sold at the same time and place. and there are for sale absolutely without reserve. The pedigree Hereford bull Crusader, to be offered on account of Mr. Ernest Short, of "Parorangi," is well known an a prize-taker, and also at the stud. Re has taken several iirst and championship honors at the leading shows, and his stock shows extra quality and breeding. A nine-months-old bull by Crusader brought the record price for its age for Australasia, viz., 170 guineas, at the dispersal sale of the late G. C. Wheeler. The auctioneers. Dalgetv and Co., Ltd..
