THE TARANAKI SHOW.
The entries for tlic butter competitions to take place at tin- Taranaki Agricultural Society's annual spring show have iln.-wl. and lip- p-ulls arc extremely satisfactory, a.- '.hey show an increase of seven more entries than received 'by the society on any previous occasion. This should be very gratifying to the committee, and from entries to hand in other classes which are really not due until November IS. things point clearly to the fact that the forthcoming show is going to be the greatest exhibition in all classes ever witnessed in Taranaki.
The secretary of the Taranaki Agricultural .Society leaves for the l'almerston North show to-morrow, and he expeels to receive n number of entries from that district for the forthcoming spring show to be held on November 22 and 2.1. Mr. Bewlev will be able to furnish any information in connection with the Taranaki show during the secretarv's absence.
