• SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By Telegraph—Press Association. j Wellington, Last Night, j •The Meteorological Office has issued; the following summary and forecast: —j Northerly and westerly winds, strong to gale, have been experienced generally, but a change to the southward occurred in the south. The barometer has fallen Blightly in the north. Cloudy and unaettied weather has prevailed, and rain in many parts. Rivers are in high flood on the West Coast of the South Island. The present indications are for a falling barometer everywhere, with high north- j erly and westerly winds, cloudy and un- ■ settled weather, with rain probable generally.
