A PROTEST TO BRITAIN. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright, London, October 20. A Reuter's telegram says that the Persian Government has sent a Note to Britain protesting against the despatch of troops to Shiraz, where everything is now tranquil, and stating that the presence of troops would tend to increase Persia's difficulty in maintaining order.
