H was reported 011 Wednesday that a duel with pistols, arising out of love affairs at a dance, between two students, Dietzen aged eighteen, and Vonneeker aged sixteen, was fought at Rudolstadt. I \ onneeker was shot dead, whereupon Dictzirt shot himself ,it is feared fatally. It now appears that both boys committed suicide.
A TRAITOR SENTENCED. Berlin, October 20. A reservist named Kohrer was sentenced to six years' penal servitude at Leipsig for having endeavored to sell Metz fortifications plans to the French authorities. DEATH OP A MISSIONARY. London, October 20. Advices from Georgetown, British Guiana, state that the diary of Davis, the American missionary who was supposed to have been poisoned for preaching against polygamy, shows that he died from fever. The aboriginals have been cleared of all suspicion.
