Lord Courtney, Messrs. Burt and Penwick. M's.P., W. H. Lever and Benjamin Brown have issued a pronouncement on behalf of the Labor Co-partnership Association, urging great employers and trusted labor leaders to consider whether co-partnership would largely solve the industrial problems. SUGGESTION'S FOR SUPPRESSION Received 22, 5.5 p.m. * London, October 21. The Employers' Parliamentary Council, on behalf of various associations of employers, have memorialised the Prime Minister against the tyranny of so-called peaceful picketing, and contends that the unions should be made responsible for their actions to ordinary law. The Council also urges the suppression, as unlawful, of any federation of unions formed to paralyse the country by general strike or. lock-out.
