PARLIAMENT
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 21. By Telegraph—Preiw Association. Wellington, Saturday. In the House after midnight, in comon the Legislature Amendment Bill; Sir W. J. Steward moved that the term of Parliament be extended from three to four years. This was negatived by 40 votes to 13. The Bill was. reported with slight Amendments.
