Eat sheep—Extra prime to 30s ' (id. prime 23s to 28s 3d, others 18s 7d to 22s Od, shorn wethers 10s Id to His, merino wethers 10s to 30s 3d, extra prime ewes to 295. prime 20s to 25s 9d, others Ills J'Od to His Od.

Fat cattle—Steers £8 to £ll 10s, extra to £ls, heifers £7 2s Od to £B, extra to £ll 15s, cows £5 15s to £lO os (equal to 27s Od to 33s Od for prime, extra to 38s (id, cow and inferior 20s to 25s per lOOlb). A line of Wairarapa steers made £l3 to £ls ss. Veal calves made 4s Od to 525, and one extra large £4* ss. I

A small yarding of store cattle consisted of young sorts in low condition. Yearlings made 255. 15 to 18-nionths £2 8s to £2 13s, 2-vcar lieifers £3 Is, drv cows 27s to £4 2s 4d. - The small number of dairy cows on offer were mostly inferior sorts, and they met with a dragging sale, prices rang-1 ing from £3 10s to £9 2s Od. Fat pigs.—Choppers made 52s to S(is. large baconeis 00s to 78s, lighter 50s to 57s (equal to 0d per lb) ; large porkers 37s (id to 47s lid,, lighter 30s to 35s (equal to lid to o%d per lb). A medium entry of store pigs was also in active demand, large sorts making 27s to 31s sd. smaller His to 255., weaners 7s Od to 17s lid. the hitler price being for an exceptionally good line. BURNSIDE. At Burnside 230 fat cattle were yarded, these being of good quality, taken all round. At the beginning of the sale prices were a little easier than last week, but they gradually firmed, and closed on a par with rates riilm™ a week ago. Best bullocks £l2 to £l3 12s Od, extra to £l(s, medium £lO to £ll, unfinished £S to £9, best cow* and heifers ,£S to £9 10s, medium £0 10s to £7 10s, inferior £5 to £O.

Abraham and Williams, Ltd.. report on their .lohnsonvillc sale: —A good yarding of medium quality bullocks and prime sheep came forward and sold at late rales.
