They will be submitted to the Merchant Service Guild. The question of overtime is •ndcrstood to be the bone of contention. CANCELLATION OF REGISTRATION. * Wellington, Last Night. Tt is stated that ballot papers have been circulated amongst members of the-'Merchant Service Guild, asking for definite pronouncement from individual members as to whether the Guild will cancel its registration under the Arbitration Act or not. . . NO CHANCE OF A SETTLEMENT. , ,• Christehurch, Last Night. ' -V Mr. Watsom of the Merchant Service, ... Guild, who passed through Christehurch ( ! to-'niifU on his way from Dunedin to Christehurch, told' a reporter he did not ' think there was much chance of a settlement being effected in the coastal , ; shipping trouble.
